On September 9, 2024, the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) held a meeting with Mr. Jean-Erik de Zagon, Head of the Regional Hub for Eastern Europe at the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Ms. Kristina Mikulova, who will take over Mr. de Zagon’s role on October 1, 2024. This event was an introductory meeting to welcome Ms. Mikulova as the new Regional Executive Director after Mr. de Zagon’s successful nearly seven-year tenure.

Attendees of the event, held at the EIB Office in Kyiv, including representatives from Intecracy Group, AVELLUM, Accordbank, Terwin Group, Activitis, Moneyveo, SPP Development Ukraine, COSA, and SEETON, provided positive feedback about the cooperative spirit of the EIB team. The EIB representatives addressed all queries thoroughly and encouraged USUBC members to submit project teasers for further consideration, showcasing the tangible benefits of membership and the potential for future collaboration.
