NEW CITI COUNTRY OFFICER FOR UKRAINE

Alexander (Alex) Grant McWhorter has been approved by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) as Chairman of the
Management Board of JSC "CITIBANK".
WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Alexander (Alex) Grant McWhorter has been approved by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) as Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "CITIBANK". Citi announced earlier this year the intention to have Alex serve as the new Citi Country Officer for Ukraine, subject to approval by the NBU.

During the last five years, Alexander held the position of Managing Director, UK Risk Officer, based in Citi’s London headquarters. In the role of UK Risk Officer, Alexander was responsible for the risk management of the UK legal entities as well as supporting the EMEA Chief Risk Officer on regional risk management and crisis management.
Prior to that role, Alexander spent several years in the Global Risk Chief Administrative Officer’s office, where he coordinated strategic projects, including CCAR, Recovery and Resolution Planning. Prior to that, Alexander spent time in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Market Risk Management. Alexander holds a B.A from Williams College and a MBA from NYU Stern.
