USUBC hosted a very informative meeting with Peter Teluk, the newly appointed personal Senior Advisor for Investment, Privatization and Governance to Tymofiy Mylovanov, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The panel also included: Edward Chow, Center for Strategic & International Studies (SCIS) Martha Scott Poindexter, Vice President, Government Affairs, Bunge North America and Vitalii Tarasiuk, Minister-Counselor, Head of Economic and Trade Office, Embassy Ukraine to the USA.
Mr. Chow from CSIS spoke mostly about corruption and oligarchs' influence as well as energy independence of Ukraine. In her presentation, Martha Scott Poindexter from Bunge emphasized the critical importance of infrastructure modernization for ag producers and exporters of agricultural commodities.
This meeting in Washington D.C. was attended by over 40 representatives of the business community, public sector, financial institutions, U.S. and Ukrainian Government including Cargill, Bunge, McLarty Associates, Northrup Grumman, BGR Group, U.S. State Department, U.S. Department of Commerce; USTR; U.S.-Ukraine Foundation; RULG-Ukrainian Legal Group; USAID; Ukrinform, RFERL; L3harris Technologies.
Peter Teluk briefed USUBC members about key priorities of the Ministry, including land reform, privatization, deregulation, and other important issues.
USUBC President Morgan Williams presented a Distinguished Service Award to Vitalii Tarasiuk, for his outstanding work and support during his service at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington.
