On August 21 USUBC was honored to host, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, an important meeting of our members with the U.S. Congressional Delegation from the House Armed Services Committee. Distinguished guests included Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA), Vice Chairman of the Committee, and Congressman David Trone (D-MD), along with key officials from the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine: Charge d'Affaires Robert Needham, Senior Commercial Officer Nathan Seifert, Major Margo Shields, LTC Ellen Canupp and Political Officer Camilo Caballero.

This gathering provided a crucial platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities for the U.S. defense industry in Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of ongoing cooperation and technological exchange, paving the way for enhanced collaboration in defense technology and policy. USUBC remains committed to advancing these critical conversations that strengthen the U.S.-Ukraine partnership.
