Discover the Melodies of the Bandura - Join us at Kobzarska Sich!

Some of you already know that each August, teenagers from across North America descend on Emlenton, Pennsylvania, to learn bandura and Ukrainian music. Whether campers are picking up the bandura for the first time or coming to perfect their technique, Kobzarska Sich is the ideal place to help develop Ukrainian culture in the United States while making unforgettable memories and friends.

The camp consists of FIVE programs:
Bandura Camp — our main program, designed for campers between 12 and 25 years old (July 30 – August 12)
Junior Bandura Workshop — for kids 8–12 years old (July 30 – August 5)
Adult Bandura Workshop — for adults over 25 (July 30 – August 5)
Ukrainian Folk Singing Experience — for girls/women ages 14 – 30 (July 30 – August 5)
Ukrainian Choral Workshop — for campers over 16 (August 5 – 12).
Camp takes place in the gorgeous Allegheny River valley at the Ukrainian campground "All Saints Camp."

Campers have two hours of free time each day to play sports, swim in the pool, and fun activities organized by the camp counselors. They sleep in cabins with other campers their age.

The bandura program is divided into groups based on skill level, and ranges from beginners to those who already play in ensembles. We have banduras to loan you if you’d have one!
