SkyUp Airlines has started spring in an accelerating pace: in March we have performed 300 flights more than a month earlier. We have also opened new destinations both in Europe and Asia, and have announced the first original SkyUp Weekend for U tour this year.
Key facts in figures
During the first month of spring, we operated 708 passenger flights*: 536 charter and 172 scheduled. In general, this is 300 flights more than in February. We carried 127,661 passengers*, of which 100,485 via charter flights and 27,176 via scheduled ones.
We delivered 83,855.4 kg of cargo* by passenger flights.
Today, SkyUp operates at 50-60% of its operating capabilities, which corresponds to the scale of early 2020. In the future, we will continue to expand our flight network as borders open.
New travel opportunities
First flight to Almaty
In March, SkyUp began operating Kyiv – Almaty – Kyiv regular flights. So now everyone can fly to Kazakhstan every Friday to learn more about this country. Hospitable Almaty can be a great start for new adventures and pleasant discoveries. Return flights operate every Saturday.
We are already in Belgrade
At the beginning of last month, SkyUp announced, and already on March 30, launched the first Kyiv – Belgrade – Kyiv flight. In addition to regular journeys, everyone will be able to escape from worries and reboot during short 3-4 days CityBreaks. You can order them on a special page of the airline's official website.
Sunny Cyprus is getting closer
The white beaches and turquoise sea of Cyprus have been reopened to Ukrainians. In March, we announced flights from Kyiv to Larnaca. Flights from Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya and Lviv will be added later.
Istanbul from Kyiv and regions
In early spring, we announced the further expansion of our flight program to Istanbul. In May, flights from Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv will be added to SkyUp flights from Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa. A convenient flight schedule is perfect both for a short vacation of 2-3 days without interrupting your business, as well as for a good rest.
