5000 Medical Masks provided to Kyiv hospitals
Despite the quarantine easing in Ukraine, COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a serious impact on human health and the socio-economic situation in Ukraine.
Shell, as a socially responsible company, supports efforts for fighting with COVID-19.
In particular, during the quarantine Shell Retail Ukraine has strengthened security measures both in the company offices and at petrol stations. So, the cash zones at all 133 Shell petrol stations in 20 regions equipped with protective screens, and there is a special marking on the floor for comfortable keeping the desired distance. The new rules of behaviour at petrol stations were made for clients and personnel, which aim to prevent the spread of the disease. All employees are equipped with masks and disposable gloves.
Besides, within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Shell donated five thousand protective masks to the State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of NAMS of Ukraine" and Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No 4 for safe working conditions of medical workers and protection of visitors.
