In the course of the working visit to USA, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with the leading business representatives of USA.

Petro Poroshenko emphasized that despite the ongoing Russian aggression, Ukraine didn’t only stabilize the macroeconomic situation, but also switched to the growth.

The American business leaders praised the progress in reforms in Ukraine on the way to the creation of a proper investment climate and fair justice.

The President informed on the course of anti-corruption and judicial reform.

“Ukraine is a country of opportunities for investors,” the President emphasized. He drew attention to the fact that according to the survey made by the Institutional Investor, Ukraine has occupied the first place in the list of countries to be visited by potential investors in the next 12 months.

The Head of State focused on the measures taken to improve business conditions in the state, including VAT refund and introduction of transparent business conditions.

Petro Poroshenko noted the role of USA in ensuring energy independence of Ukraine.

The President emphasized that American companies are reliable partners of Ukrainian business abroad and are welcome in Ukraine as potential foreign investors.
