Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi, Partner of International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine, has been elected as a New Board Member of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (the “Association”). TheAssociation confirmed the e-voting results during its November 16, 2015 General Meeting. The Board consists of 9 members, elected every three years among members of the Association.

Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi is an international arbitration and litigation practitioner with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the field. He has extensive experience representing the state of Ukraine in ICSID, as well as other arbitral institutions and tribunals. Mr. Kliuchkovskyi has worked on behalf of his clients in arbitrations at ICC, SCC, AAA, CAS and others, as well as in proceedings under the UNCITRAL arbitration rules. Earlier this year, Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi was recognized and recommended by the prestigious GAR 100, Chambers, Best Lawyers, The Legal 500 and other reputable legal directories.

The Ukrainian Arbitration Association is a non-profit NGO established in September 2012. The Association unites professionals who are engaged or interested in dispute resolution practice in international arbitration. The key objectives of the Association include facilitation and promotion of interest in the international arbitration practice as a means for settling cross-border disputes, promotion of knowledge and experience in dispute resolution by international arbitration, and enhancement of cooperation and exchange of experience between specialists in this practice around the world.
