On September 13, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council held an In-Person Working Lunch “Dispatch from Washington D.C. with USUBC Senior Advisors: Ambassador John Herbst, Ambassador William Taylor and Dr. Anders Åslund”.

The event featured an insightful discussion led by Ambassadors John Herbst and William Taylor and the renowned economist Dr. Anders Åslund, moderated by Maryna Antonova, USUBC Director of Government Relations. USUBC members had the unique opportunity to hear the latest updates from Washington D.C., to participate in interactive discussion with the speakers and to share their experiences and aspirations for investing in Ukraine’s economic recovery.

USUBC members highly valued this opportunity to engage with leading Washington DC experts working on critical issues impacting Ukraine’s path to recovery and its future growth. The insights exchanged during the meeting will help to guide efforts in strengthening economic ties between Ukraine and the U.S. and to promote opportunities for investment in Ukraine’s reconstruction.
