Dentons is pleased to announce that the Banking and Finance Litigation Group of Matthew Arnold & Baldwin is to join the Firm on February 1, 2016. The Group's arrival significantly expands Dentons' highly-regarded litigation practice and creates one of the largest financial disputes and contentious regulatory teams in the UK.

The Watford-based team includes 11 partners, 34 associates and 30 paralegals. Led by Steven Mills and Clare Stothard, the practice is predominantly focussed on financial litigation and investigations work for major banks. The team is rated by Chambers as one of the leading banking litigation practices outside of London, with Steven Mills ranked as a "Band 1" lawyer.

Dentons' enlarged Financial and Commercial Disputes Group will comprise 18 partners and over 100 fee earners, offering clients enhanced capabilities in complex financial litigation and regulatory investigations. Our overall UK Disputes practice will increase in size to 37 partners and 130 fee earners. In response to client demand the Firm is significantly enhancing its flexible resourcing model including the use of paralegals.
