ASTERS SETS TEMPORARY POLICY TO LIMIT TRAVEL AND IN-HOUSE MEETINGS
Asters, Kyiv, Ukraine,
Mar 12, Thu, 2020
While as of today there are no known or suspected cases of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Kyiv, out of concern for the health and safety of our clients and personnel Asters restricts international travel for all employees, limits participation in all external events and limits client meetings in its offices transferring them online.
The temporary policy is expected to last one month at minimum, during which our clients and business partners are welcome to join comfortable and secure virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams tools and telephone calls and conferences. The detailed guidelines and contact information for joining online meetings will be sent by email to Asters clients and business partners directly. In case of any technical difficulties please feel free to reach our IT Helpdesk at it@asterslaw.com
"The No. 1 goal for us is to protect our clients and employees,” – comments Asters Co-Managing Partner Serhii Sviriba. “In line with our prearranged business continuity plan we are restricting business trips abroad and personal meetings in Asters offices and have already deployed and tested the remote work tools for our employees to ensure the Firm's capabilities to continue fully assisting our clients. We are following recommendations and measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities for prevention of the spread of the virus, and we'll continue to provide updates to our clients and business partners as things develop."
