UIA received the EASA Certificate

UkraineInternational Airlines were recognized an authorized Third Country Operatoraccording to the European Aviation Safety Agency regulations.
May 2014,Regulation (EU) 452/2014, the so-called TCO Regulation, entered into force. Commercialair carriers must comply with the safety requirements of each country theyvisit. The European Commission has adopted a unified authorization processrequiring commercial air transport operators from outside the EU, also known asthird-country operators (TCOs), to obtain a single EU-wide safetyauthorization.
The TCO Certificateallows UIA to operated flights to, from and within the 28 European Union statesand the four European Free Trade Association states – Iceland, Liechtenstein,Norway, and Switzerland.
“To receive the TCOCertificate, UIA had to submit an application and provide information onoperations specifications, aviation safety management, fleet data, other safetyinformation, including accident history, etc. by November 25, 2014, – notedGeorgii Zotov, UIA Vice President Quality and Safety Control. – We are proud ofbeing authorized the EU TCO carrier meaning that UIA operations and safetymanagement systems fully comply with both IATA and EASA requirements andregulations”.
