The term for setting up a Representative office to be shortened

The term for consideration ofdocuments to establish a Representative office in Ukraine is to be shortenedfrom 60 to 30 working days.

The respective official instruction has been issued by the Minister of EconomicDevelopment and Trade of Ukraine*. However, no changes were made to theInstruction on registration of Representative offices of foreign economicentities in Ukraine** yet. It still indicates the term of 60 working days.

We expect that the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine wouldfollow the Minister’s instruction and the term will effectively be reduced.

We will continue monitoring this issue and will update you accordingly if weobserve additional improvements in practice.
