WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sunrise Agro, a small manufacturer of Western quality agricultural machinery headquartered in Zhitomir and Kyiv, Ukraine, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today.  The announcement was made on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 195 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine.

TOV "Sunrise-Agro" was founded in 2005 by David Neisingh, a US citizen who has been working in Ukraine now for many years. David's goal was create a company that would manufacture agricultural equipment that was affordable, and met the highest international quality requirements.  After studying the Ukrainian market and farmers' real demands, Sunrise-Agro began to design, manufacture and market tillage machines. Under David's leadership Sunrise Agro made it through the tough years during the financial crisis and is now expanding the line of equipment and their sales program.

MICHAEL DEVOE, RAFIC EL HALABI & ALEXANDER KOREPOV JOIN THE TEAM
In 2011 Michael Devoe, a citizen of New Zealand, joined the Sunrise Team as a partner. Michael, who has an MBA, is responsible for accounting, legal, contracts, corporate structure, and planning.

Rafic El Halabi, formerly a Lebanese citizen, is in charge of the manufacturing facility in Zhitomir and responsible for quality and efficiency at the plant. He graduated with honors from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as an electric/mechanical engineer.

Alexander Korepov is sales director for Sunrise Agro.  Alexander used to work for Agrotech (largest John Deere dealer in Ukraine) where he was in charge of sales.

NEW BALE STACKER TRAILER FROM SUNRISE AGRO

Sunrise Agro's design for its farm machinery is in Autocad or similiar and their capacities include cnc plasma cutting, argon/Co2 welding, turning, milling, sand blasting, and two component epoxy painting.

The management of USUBC has been working with David Neisingh and Michael Devoe now for several months. "We have met with David and Michael several times in Kyiv and have been very impressed with their work, their high quality, cost effective products, and the plans they have for the future of Sunrise Agro, said Morgan Williams, President, U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

USUBC MEMBERSHIP WILL TOP 200 IN DECEMBER 2012
USUBC membership has grown rapidly during the past six years. Membership now stands at over 195.
