Sayenko Kharenko acted as a legal adviser for WIND FARM LLC in relation to entering into an EPC contract with POWERCHINA. The contract provided for the joint implementation of an 800 MW wind farm in the Mangushskyi and Nikolskyi districts of the Donetsk region.
The project will attract about USD 1 billion of investments in Donetsk region and create new jobs. It demonstrates a possibility to implement wind energy projects in Ukraine without the “green” tariffs and on the terms of selling electricity on the market.
Sayenko Kharenko provided legal support to WIND FARM LLC in the process of concluding an EPC contract (FIDIC form).Particularly, we verified compliance of the contract with Ukrainian legislation, analysed risks and consulted on other issues regarding the contract conclusion.
WIND FARM LLC will be working on implementation of the project. . Experience of the company’s team spans over 25 years, making it the most experienced in the Ukrainian wind power sector. Employees of the company have been involved in development of a wind power plants (WPP) projects portfolio with a total capacity of 1.3 GW and implemented WPP projects with a total capacity of more than 400 MW in Ukraine.
