Preparation of the facilities and equipment of the main transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv is well under way (without a stop of the operation facility). Thus, the company is actively preparing to accept a new crop of agricultural products.
According to the Director of the transshipment terminal, Oleksandr Lepko, the schedule maintenance works were executed at almost all key facilities and namely:
– painting of truck tippers’ platforms, replacement of gates and machinery;
– repairing of winches of NEUERO vessel loading systems;
-maintenance of grain cleaning and transport equipment;
– testing of warning system for technological equipment;
– checkup of card system of transport recording and automatic process control system;
– testing of all components and aggregates drying complexes;
– washing out of all transport galleries and grain cleaning tower;
– exterior paint works and facilities improvement.
The transshipment terminal is a modern facility that is unique not only for Ukraine but also for the whole Europe.
The total grain storage capacity of the transshipment terminal is 130 thousand tons. The rated grain dryer capacity with simultaneous operation of its all units is 350 tons per hour. The productivity of acceptance of goods is the following: 20 thousand tons per day from road transport, 7,5 thousand tons per day from railway transport and 40 thousand tons per day for water transport.
According to results of the past 2014/15 MY, NIBULON exported 4,2 million tons of agricultural products. Thus the turnover of the grain storage facilities was 32.
