Kyiv, Ukraine, 28 May 2015 -Baker & McKenzie Kyiv Office became the official partner of the Associationof Pharmaceutical Research and Development (APRaD). Within this partnership,the lawyers of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Practice of Baker & McKenziewill provide legal support to the activities of APRaD in Ukraine.
Commenting on this partnership agreement, the representative of Baker &McKenzie's at the APRaD, Senior Associate Olha Demianiuk, noted that "thispartnership is of a unique nature, because by combining the efforts of theassociation, business and the lawyers, we will be able to contributesubstantially into the development of legal framework for the pharmaceuticalindustry."
Dr. Volodymyr Redko, the Executive Director of APRaD, noted that Baker &McKenzie will provide ongoing professional assistance to APRaD in achieving itsobjectives, including in the area of deregulation of pharmaceutical industryand reform of the Ukrainian health care system.
