Kyiv: USUBC Proudly Co-Organizes Welcoming Reception for International Defense Industries Forum 2 (DFNC2)

On September 30 USUBC co-organized, in partnership with the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the DFNC2 welcoming Networking Reception to greet leaders and attendees of the Defense Industries Forum 2 (DFNC2).

The event brought together over 300 attendees, including representatives from approximately 250 defense companies, alongside high-ranking political and governmental officials from Ukraine's defense sector. Among others, this included leadership and senior officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the President, as well as key representatives from NATO, the EU and the diplomatic community. Read more…

On September 26 in Washington D.C., USUBC held a meeting with Daria Marchak, First Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, and Kyrylo Lapko, Head of the International Relations Office of the Coordination Center for Family Upbringing and Child Care Development, entitled “Advancing Social Policy: Collaborating on Workforce Development and Social Initiatives”. National Ballet of Ukraine Performance in Washington, D.C. Launching the Historic Tour

The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council strongly supports the National Ballet of Ukraine US Tour “Hope of Ukraine”. The inaugural performance will take place in Washington, D.C. next Tuesday, October 8th showcasing the best of Ukrainian artists and culture during a time of war with a stunning program featuring timeless classics “The Dying Swan,” “Don Quixote,” and “Giselle.”

 

We encourage our Members and the entire USUBC community to attend the performances in your city (19 shows across the USA), and to get involved in sponsorship and donations opportunities for the Tour.
