PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION - ATTRACTING INVESTMENTS
Professional education under international standards is undoubtedly one of the crucial prerequisites for attracting investment. Only with a modernized education system can Ukraine succeed in keeping the young people in the country and ensure that employers have the qualified human capital available to them needed to expand existing businesses and develop new ones.
Additionally, with some businesses establishing their own training programs and cooperating with existing education establishments, full tax deductibility of education-related expenses is an important issue for the business community. Ukraine’s Labor Code also needs certain improvements.
The Forum will discuss priorities for Ukraine’s education system reform and labor relations which are required for producing a modern labor force for a modern, competitive economy.
Two USUBC members are among the Forum’s speakers, including USUBC’s Executive Committee member Margarita Karpenko, Managing Partner, DLA Piper Ukraine.
DTEK, a USUBC member, is a sponsor of the Forum.
