VKP sponsored a conference entitled "Strategy of developing competition law in Ukraine and an international practice review", which was held on January 29, 2013 at the InterContinental Kyiv, gathering an unprecedented number of international competition law practitioners, representatives of the competition authorities and international organizations.

During the fruitful discussions and presentations event participants exchanged their take on possible solutions to urgent modern competition law issues. Delegates discussed the cooperation of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine with international organizations in the context of reviewing the current state of competition in Ukraine and how best to involve them in the discussion of the national program to promote competition in Ukraine (2014-2024). In addition, attendees received a lot of useful information on the performance of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in 2012.

The event, in particular, was attended by the Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Vasyl Tsushko and the first deputy chairman Rafael Kuzmin.
