Vasyl Zabashta is one of the greatest masters of historical paintings, portraits and landscapes, and a notable representative of truly Ukrainian culture of nowadays. Every picture is something that was not only seen but also outlived by the painter internally – reflection on human life in the world and the wish to discover the mystery of being. The magic multi-dimensional world and life are also reproduced in a series of China's landscapes and portraits painted by Zabashta in his early years, when the issues of coloring became the most important in his art life.

 Vasyl Zabashta is the People's Artist of Ukraine, Honored Fine Arts Worker of Ukraine, Professor of Fine Arts, and Member of the Artists' Union of Ukraine. His paintings are represented in the National Art Gallery and private collections in the USA, Canada, France, Italy, Korea, and China.

ArtAsters is a non-profit project of Asters aimed at popularization of Ukrainian art. Launched in 2009, the project is designed to benefit Ukrainian artists and create additional opportunities for them to display their works in a gallery-like space where Asters' lawyers, clients, and guests can admire their work.
