On 28 April the employees of BDO in Ukraine have joined the community initiative "Make the Ukraine clean" by taking part in cleaning the park of Partisan Glory. BDO "Green Team» has collected about 10 bags of plastic bottles, broken glass, cigarette butts and packs of cigarettes, bags and other garbage. This initiative is part of the annual Earth Day, and acceded to more than 81 countries. Participation of BDO in Ukraine became logical continuation of implementation of the corporate social responsibility strategy in the company. We support the efforts of business, society and every individual to take a few hours of their personal time in order to restore the cleanliness in public places of recreation and accommodation. Dräger Henning, Director of Sustainable Development, said: "Gandhi's motto: Be the change that you want to see in the world ", of course, is perfectly suited for this initiative. I firmly believe that we should not wait for the government, NGOs or even the neighbors to respect our common environment. Each of us can make a small contribution to the overall big deal for the benefit of present and future generations. Let's do it, Ukraine! "
