WASHINGTON, D.C. - The International Services Corporation (ISC), Washington, D.C., a procurement and shipping agent, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), according to the USUBC executive committee, in an announcement on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 100 companies and organizations.
 
ISC is a District of Columbia corporation established in 1972, who acts as procurement and shipping agents for a wide variety of clients including U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, private voluntary organizations (PVO's) and other non-governmental organizations. ISC has shipped a variety of goods to Ukraine for the U.S. government and for PVO's.
 
ISC personnel have extensive knowledge of, and familiarity with, the preparation of invitations for bids or requests for proposals in accordance with U.S. government laws and regulations. ISC continues to be actively engaged in the procurement of a wide range of commodities including grain and fuel shipments.

ISC CORPORATE ORGANIZATION
ISC corporate organization is composed as follows: Milton G. Nottingham, Jr., Chairman of the Board, Emeritus, who is an institution himself in the shipping business in Washington for over 50 years. Mariano Echevarria, President and Chief Executive Officer, educated in Cuba in Public Accounting, has a PHD in Economics and post-graduate studies in Cost Accounting at Columbia University and a member of the faculty at Villanova University in Havana.  He has been in Washington since 1963 involved in all aspects of the foreign aid programs of the USA.

Stephen P. Druhot, Executive Vice President, has been in management positions in the maritime industry for more than 35 years the last 18 of which have been in  the commodity procurement and ship chartering business.  He joined ISC in 1978 and has been responsible ever since as official liaison with civilian and military officials of foreign embassies, the United States Department of State, USAID  and USDA.

USUBC has been working with Mr. Druhot who would represent ISC on the USUBC board of directors.  During the early part of his career, his activities were directed in worldwide chartering for one of the largest maritime shipping companies in the United States. Mr. Druhot is a graduate of the University of Southern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. 

Mr. James M. Redman, Vice President for Operations, has been a member of the firm since 1979.  A graduate of Georgetown University, he is in charge of coordination and implementation  of  the purchasing and shipping contracts entered by ISC for and on behalf of its clients.
